Tatyana Ali

Tatyana Ali was born in Brooklyn New York on January 24th 1979.

Tatyana Ali started acting at the age of six when she landed a regular role as a kid on Sesame Street. Tatyana Ali also appeared on Star Search.


But Tatyana Ali maybe best known for her role as Will Smith's cousin Ashely Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

During acting on Fresh Prince Tatyana had a few chance to sign on the show. She was so well that Will Smith told her that she could have a music career. When the show ended Tatyana Ali decided to take singing seriously and started working on her album Kiss the Sky. Which was released in 1998. Kiss the Sky went gold.

Tatyana Ali is working on a second album titled The Light which is set to come out in 2009 or 2010.

Tatyana Ali has appeared in films such as Eddie Murphy Raw, Brothers, Brother, Fakin' Da Funk, The Clown at Midnight, Mother and Child, Nora's Hair Salon (1 and 2), Jawbreaker, The List, National Lampoon's Dorm Daze, Back in the Day, Locker 13, Hotel California and The Misguided Adventures of Dating in Hollywood.

Currently Tatyana Ali appears on The Young and the Restless, host TV One Access and stars in the web series Buppies for BET.

Rapper and Dancer Lil Mama was born October 4th 1989 in Harlem, though she grew up in Brooklyn.

Lil Mama birthname is Niatia Jessica Kirkland.

growing up Lil Mama studied dance and started rapping when she was 10 and actually start writing poetry at even an earlier age.

In 2007 Lil Mama step on the national stage with the song Lip Gloss. The song quickly became a top ten hit which lead way to Lil Mama's debut album VYP (Voice of the Young People)


As the name of the album implies Lil Mama makes music aimed at the kids as much as it is for teens and adults. With a style she calls hip-pop. That's right Lil Mama doesn't run away from the ideal of the popification of hip-hop but is embracing it.

But 2007 was a bitter sweat year for Lil Mama, she had a giant pop hit and a top selling album but that year Lil Mama's mama died while she was on tour.

In 2008 Lil Mama was on of the judges on Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew and appeared on Avril Lavigne's remix of Girlfriend.

even though it didn't make as Kanye West ran on stage when Tylor Swift won her award at the 2009 MTV music video awards, Lil Mama also jump on stage during Jay-Z and Alica Keys performance.


in 2010 Lil Mama dropped her second album Voice of the Young People: I Am That.

Sophie Okonedo

Sophie Okonedo was born in London, England in 1968.

Sophie Okonedo in bi-racial her father is Nigerian and her mother is Jewish of Polish/Russian decent.

Sophie Okonedo's career into acting started when she was 18 and she was a student in a writer's workshop for Time Out. At the workshop Sophie Okonedo's writing coach (screenwriter Hanif Kureishi) noticed that Sophie Okonedo was really good at giving dramatic renditions of other people's stories and encouraged her to go into acting.


Sophie Okonedo started acting in the Royal Court Theater and short after that she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Sophie Okonedo had a pretty well reachieved acting career in the theater yet her career in film/television started off a bit slow, in 1991 she appeared in her first film Young Soul Rebels, a few years later she played a tribal princess (yes you read that right) in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.


Sophie Okonedo breakout role would be in movie Dirty Pretty Things and Hotel Rwanda.
