Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland was born Kelendria Trene Rowland on February 11th 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia.

When Kelly Rowland was seven her mother left her father because he was an abusive alcoholic.

Kelly Rowland joined a girl group called Gyrl Tymes' (which later became known as Destinys Child) and in 1991 she moved in with the Knowles family because of the problems with her family.

The group Destiny Child had major success and a number of line up changes, but Kelly Rowland along with Beyonce where the main stays of the group.

In 2002 Kelly Rowland did a song with rapper Nelly called Dilemma. which became one of the biggest songs that year. And even though Kelly had much success with Desteny's Child to many this was the start of her solo career.

In 2003 Destiny Child split up so everyone could work on their solo careers. In the same year Kelly Rowland would release her debute solo album Simply Deep Which went gold in America. In 2007 Kelly Rowland release her second album Ms. Kelly.

In 2009 Kelly was longer managed by Mathew Knowles, as well as left Columbia records and went a little more international with her music by doing a duet with Italian singer Tiziano Ferro, Breathe Gentle, and appeared on DJ David Guetta One love In 2010 Kelly Rowland song the theme song to the FIFA world cup Everywhere You Go

In 2011 Kelly Rowland released her thrid album Here I Am and as of this post this is her hightest album debute in terms of sells.

Kelly Rowland isn't just a singer. In 2002 Kelly Rowland started her acting career as a guess star on the Hughleys.

Kelly would then go on to appear in such movies as Freddy vs Jason, The Seat Filler, Astérix at the Olympic Games, The Goree Girls

and Kelly Rowland has also worked in reality TV being the Choir Master in Clash of the Choir and a co-host on The Fashion Show
